Some Tips for Properly Using the Fitball

One of the current trends of fitness is the get increase the intensity of the exercises. To achieve this we do is add to already known in bodybuilding an extra that will increase the intensity of the same. The use of additional weights, rubber bands, long, deep strokes… are some of the resources to intensify much more this. One of the things which most is worth mentioning is the use of fitball ball, but it is necessary to have some things in mind when using it to train differently.

As a general rule we tend to use it to perform abdominal, since it is one of the basic exercises in which we have always promoted the use of this device to achieve best results. But the fitball serves not only for this, since We can apply it to any other training routines as support to for example press of pectoral muscle, biceps, triceps… Although its use is not as simple as we think.

First of all we need to know that the balance is the basis for working on fitball. To achieve perfect control it is necessary that we intervene with the body stabilizers, which are the muscles of the core which will help us to keep the body straight and upright. For this reason the abdominal muscles must be present throughout all exercises with fitball to perform them without any problems. But there are many people who do not have strong abdominal muscles, so not saved properly balance. In these cases, and to get used to the fitball is recommended to use a bosu, that has a base that is flat, but the top on which we rely has the same shape and texture as the fitball.

The weight is another of the things that we must bear in mind When it comes to working with fitball, because the instability of the support does not allow us to use very large loads, because if we do we can fall into the error perform twists and very complex positions in which the impact on different parts of the body can pass us invoice through injury. This is why if you are looking for is a high muscle development, working with fitball is not the most recommended, as loads are not very high. But that is the best way of get complete control over the body.

One thing to keep in mind when training at fitball is that It is necessary that we always put in the correct position to do the exercise. To achieve this we must position ourselves in front of a mirror and control movements that we at all times, or help us help someone who corrected us and guide us when performing different exercises.
