A wonderful experience and a good warm-up for the gorilla hike. After the gorilla safari we continue to Queen Elizabeth Park for a traditional safari and a boat trip on the Kazinga Canal. Then there will be a chimpanzee hike in Kibaleskogen before we end the trip in Entebbe.

AY 1

Arrival in Kigali on arrival you will receive a transfer to Lemigo Hotel. Overnight stay with breakfast pension.

We also stay at the new Dian Fossey Museum in Musanse, admission is free but you can donate a small penny if you want. Early awakening. Picnic lunch is included. We go to Queen Elizabeth Park to look for four-legged mammals and birds. The landscape is spectacular and the roads are very good by African standards. Arriving in Queen Elizabeth in the afternoon, we do a safari by car if we have time or if you would rather have the afternoon by the pool at the hotel. You have a magnificent view of the valley from where we stay at Kingfisher Lodge. The accommodation is quite simple but reasonably priced and the view from the pool and dining room across the valley is wonderful.

DAY 5

In the morning we do a safari by car. Lunch and after lunch we do a boat safari on the Kazinga Canal. On a distance of 5 km there are about 2,000 hippos but also crocodile, buffalo and elephant you can see if you are lucky. There is also a rich bird life here.
