* With product placement – as a regular reader of fashion Whisperer you certainly remember my pre-Christmas giveaway promotion, in which three Luxurious silk-cashmere scarves by Pashmina.de were to win. In the meantime, all three winners have received your dream scarf. I thought it would be exciting to see how the three readers styled their new addition. So I asked her to an outfit photo, on which she her new scarf wearing. Thus you see today a three different colors to three lucky winners scarf: gunda, Monika, and Olga. And I of course can’t, to make a few thoughts as me to the shown outfits…
Gunda: Vivid colors, clear contrasts, clear silhouette
You can see immediately when gunda: this woman loves a clear, simple outfit without much Ski Ski. For this, the colors must really pop. I like a color winter typethat can very well carry the bold colors, as well as the strong contrasts of the look at gunda.
It has present, strong and very female despite burschikosem haircut. This is ensured by the rather short black pencil skirt, the monochrome wearing knee-high boots and tights . This brings her figure with slim legs accentuated.
The outfit is clearly divided into a lower black and an upper blue zone in the colour-blocking style. The simple, slightly waisted sweater offers exactly the right canvas for the Leo scarf, which again takes up the strong blue.
Gunda has opted for a silhouette “long over short”, wearing the her sweater over the short skirt and extended so that your upper body. The scarf emphasizes the vertical center of the upper body, is also holding and draws the eye on Gundas face.
A clear, figure close outer silhouette that while shows Gundas female forms, but not particularly emphasizes this in total. In particular the chest waist hip curve remains discreet. The outfit lives on the understated femininity without Schnick-Schnack and from the vantage point of shawl, for the desired PEP provides the strong colours,.
If you want to learn more about Gundas style, you will find on her blog “main thing warm feet” many more outfits.
Monika: Monochrome, soft and harmonious
Monika shows her harmonious, delicate side with this outfit. You is colour-coded in a bright, monochrome world of powdery grey and blue tones. The grey boot in harmony with the gray Cape jacket and grey pocket. The bright blue of denim can be found in the scarf again. This color pattern is strong color clipsthat hold together the outfit. Only a white top and a black belt, which corresponds with the black piping of the loosely covered jacket, bring some extra contrast in the game.
If you look closely, you will discover the brightness values of the outfits in Monika’s hair color again. There small dark and almost white points are available as well as a flat gray blond, which roughly has the same brightness as the grey and the blue of denim clothing. A coincidence?
It provides scarf on Monika’s outfit, its drapery and the loosely hanging ends that the viewer’s gaze stays clearly fixated on the Middle, inner torso. The neutral, light grey jacket allows little attention is given to take the outer silhouette on the upper body. The loose Cardigan with Flounce hem does its part that the contour of the upper body is soft and blurred. Exactly how the waist-hip line? It remains unfathomable.
The narrow jeans with very low Federal makes slightly longer torso and emphasises the slimness of the legs. The boots while divide the leg into two zones, are in their grey from the bright and washed-out jeans blue not so strongly, that the visually only slightly shortened legs thus be but.
Monika shows a styling that is good portable for a light Y figure in her outfit. The exterior silhouette of the upper body is charmingly faded, the upper body slightly extended, legs slim styled. Scarf keeps the look in the middle and is the highlight of the outfit.
Monika also runs her own blog, “Styleworld 40 plus”, on which she more outfits from her life shows.
Olga: A hint of eccentricity and analog color games
This is a guess of me now, but I think that slumbers in the slightly shy and mysterious smiling Olga – the youngest member of the Group of the winners – a hidden Kook. Because on her outfit, nothing is actually really “normal”.
There would be, for example, the overly long, fairly loosely cut, easily issued dark knit dress, which she combined with equally dark boots. The choice of this silhouette alone shows that here no optimized figure, but the personal aesthetics should be implemented. The dress makes a statement.
The short down jacket to combined reinforced this impression and added a further very interesting, fairly voluminous contour to the upper body. The whole thing is a ‘short over long’ – combination, the two garments with each lot volume links – always the slightly more daring looks on the fashionable parquet arise.
The Color combination of the plum or purple of jacket and the raspberry red of the scarf is also slightly unusual. This is a so-called “analog” colour combination where on the gradient circle adjacent colors together used in this case mixtures of red and blue. The plum or purple has a quite large proportion of red while the raspberry-red contains blue. Both red and blue/purple tones are cool and have similar brightness values. Together with the dark knit dress is a very fine colour composition that is reminiscent of dark shimmering jewels.
The Leo scarf fits perfectly in the image. He draws attention to the head though as patterned element of the look, not withdrawing but from the strong presence of the face it.
Do you know why I find this somewhat unusual look so exciting? Everything about Olga’s outfit is round, soft and slightly voluminous. And these elements are reflected in Olga’s face and into her hair structure: full lips, the soft facial features, the large, round, dark eyes and the round curls in dark brown hair – all of which corresponds with the rounded softness of her looks.
And another aspect of the outfit, you unfortunately can’t see on this photo: Olga wears the outfit soft leather gloves in the raspberry red of the scarf. When to replace the down jacket with a fur Cape, now still in the spirit, the painting of a Russian winter Princess in mind comes to me immediately – Olga could be a very modern, young version of it.
My conclusion: Three individual looks at three very magical, different women
With these three scarf outfits is once again proved that colors, silhouettes and styles in fashion are so different, that there can be even no generally valid “right” or “Wrong”. I find all three outfits of the winners are consistent. And though all three looks scarf contain the same, they are but as different as their wearers themselves. Only remains me me warmly with gunda, Monika, and Olga to thank you that you have provided me their photos available. ‘Re great, brave, and strong women – each in their own way!
